We were pleased to welcome over 150 awardees and 300 parents for Nottingham City Councils final awards evening this week.
Simon Payne our award coordinator worked with Helena Cresswell from Nottingham City Council to put on this awards evening for Nottingham city schools. Parents, pupils and staff all attended this event to see students receive their Duke of Edinburgh award; presented by special guests Councillor Jackie Morris and Tim Reddish OBE.
The evening was a great success and Mr Payne would like to thank all of Nottingham High School’s staff that helped organise the event and also all of the staff within the area for supporting the evening. The only sad part of the evening was saying thank you to Helena Creswell for all of her support over her years and good luck for the future as Nottingham City schools move to becoming Directly Licenced Centres.
