The Library

Nottingham High School

The Library Collection is divided into a Lower School Library, an Upper School Library and an Archive/Library Office.

Senior Library

The Library stock comprises a wide range of fiction, both classic and contemporary; non-fiction covering all curriculum areas and of recreation/hobby interest; a large DVD collection with a substantial Foreign Language section; a range of magazines and most daily national newspapers. There are 11 internet linked computers, print and photocopying facilities.

The Library also houses the Careers Library with information on Universities, Professions and Career pathways.

Online we offer a large number of e-books and e-resources via our Library Blog plus library news, events, information skills and citation advice, recommended reading and the School Archives.

Infant and Junior Library

There is a welcoming and exceptionally well resourced library in both the Infant and Junior Schools. Pupils are encouraged to borrow fiction and non-fiction books from their respective library and our librarians are happy to take suggestions for new additions from the pupils.
