A, AS and GCSE Results - arrangements

A Level results will be available from approximately 8.00am on Thursday, 17 August in the Senior School Library.  Staff advisors will be available from that time AS Level results will be available from 9am on Thursday, 17 August in the Lower School Library

Parking will be available in the School Yard. The North Entrance, the main door to Reception and the Arboretum Street pedestrian gate will be open.

Results not collected by 12 noon will be sent by first-class post to the main home address recorded on the School database. Results will be given out by email only by prior arrangement with the Deputy Head Academic

On the day there will be refreshments between 8.30 and 11.00 in the School Dining Hall for all students, parents and staff in School. The Library itself will be very busy as we hand out results and record decisions, so we ask parents of students to stay in the Sixth Form Centre.

GCSE results will be available from approx. 9.00am on Thursday, 24 August in the School Library.

Refreshments will be available in the School Dining Hall for boys and parents from 8.30am.

2016 Results

Over 42% of the grades achieved in 2016 were A* and 71.4% were either A* or A grades, marking another outstanding round of results for the school after an equally impressive set of A level results last week.

In addition, four pupils achieved at least ten A* grades whilst 19 pupils gained at least 10 A* and A grades and 100% of the pupils gained five or more A* - C grades. Kevin Fear has said:

I congratulate all of our students on these truly outstanding GCSE results which reflect so well on them, their families and those who taught them. I am delighted that over 71% of our passes were at A* or A grade and a remarkable 42% at A* Grade alone. These results taken with our excellent A level performance reflect the academic strengths of the School as we continue our exciting move to co-education.
