Graduate PE & Games Assistant (Hockey Specialist)
We are looking to recruit a PE & Games Assistant to join our thriving Sports department with a particular emphasis on the development of hockey. This is an exciting time to be joining Sport as a hockey specialist at Nottingham High School following our recent investment at Nottingham Hockey Centre and the appointment pending of a new Head of Hockey.
Are you looking for your next challenge? Are you passionate about inspiring students to reach their full potential?
Nottingham High School is rich in tradition and has been educating children for more than 500 years. Most important, it is a community and the people who work here believe that they can make a difference to the young people they coach at sport. If you would like to join an academic and inclusive school, where we enable all staff to be the best that they can be, then we would love to hear from you.
We are looking to appoint a graduate PE & Games Assistant (Hockey Specialist) who can contribute to our sport and co-curricular programmes. Our sports programme gives all of our students the opportunity to compete at a high level in a range of sports but also understands the importance of sport in the development of all young people. We are looking for a team player with a love of sport who is able to engage and motivate the pupils and is committed to developing a love of sport and an understanding of the importance of physical fitness in all students at the School.
The nature of this role in leading teams and attending fixtures inevitably involves working outside of regular school hours and on Saturdays during term-time. The post would be suitable for a candidate who is passionate about sport and working with young people and who has aspirations of potentially working as a PE teacher in the future.
Our staff benefit from a comprehensive CPD programme as well as competitive employee benefits.
The annual salary for this position is £17,200 + employee benefits.
