Infant School Entry

The Infant School educates children from Reception to Year 2, and welcomes new pupils at all year groups subject to availability.

The main entry point is Reception. As part of the admissions process, we host a range of fun activities such as ‘Show and Tell Sessions’ and a ‘Stay and Play Morning’, to ensure the suitability of our setting for your child.

Admission to the School in Year 1 and Year 2 follows an admissions process to evaluate skills in numeracy and literacy, as well as your child’s potential for learning. All the work is set at National Curriculum ability levels appropriate for the age group. Your child may then be invited back for a final classroom-based assessment.
