Welcome to Nottingham High Infant and Junior School. We are a warm and vibrant school community where every child is valued as an individual and supported to achieve their full potential.

From our youngest children in Reception up to our Year 6 learners, we nurture the potential in every child so that they feel confident to try new things and challenge themselves in their learning. We are a school with an impressive academic reputation; every child is stretched and challenged and lessons are exciting and engaging. However, we are also a school which believed passionately in individualised pastoral care for every pupil. Our IJS Roadmap helps pupils to grow as confident and kind human beings with empathy, a positive attitude to learning and a growing sense of self, and pupils leave here with the skills and attributes they need to progress onto Senior School, university, and the world of work.
