We provide parents with a range of options for the purchase of school uniform, while ensuring that our students look smart when representing their school community.

Kukri Sports

Sixth Form students are not required to wear school uniform, but must adhere to the following dress code:

Boys:

A smart business-style suit, formal shirt, School Sixth Form tie (or one of the representative ties if permitted). Shoes to be suitable for a business environment. V-necked plain knitwear may be worn with the suit. Hair should be of a natural colour, long hair should be tied back, and boys should be clean-shaven.

Girls:

Smart business wear – either a suit (trouser suit, dress suit or skirt suit) or smart separates (to include a jacket). Shoes to be suitable for a business environment. Jewellery to be discreet and appropriate for a business environment. Hair should be of a natural colour. If in doubt about the suitability of an item of clothing, students can contact a member of the Sixth Form Team for clarification.

Hair & Makeup

Girls: Natural-looking discreet make-up is acceptable from Year 9 onwards. No nail varnish or false nails. Hair must be of a natural colour and tied back when requested, e.g. for games or science practicals. Items to secure hair must be plain. No jewellery, except one pair of small plain studs – one per ear.

Boys: Hair should be neither beyond collar length nor close-shaven. Boys must also be clean-shaven.

Cycling

Pupils cycling to school should please wear suitable protective clothing, which may be brightly coloured in the interests of safety.

Housekeeping

All clothing must be clean, tidy and clearly marked with the pupil’s name.

Jackets

Jackets become an optional part of school uniform at School once Summer Dress has been announced in Assembly, but they must be worn on the journey in, and worn or carried on the way home. All other uniform should be worn correctly.
