Financial Controller

Salary - Competitive

37.5 hours per week

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school’s finance function, including supervising the work of the Finance Team, producing management accounts and reports and working with heads of departments about budget development and review.  The school is looking to make the best use of human and digital resources to optimise quality and productivity and to provide an outstanding service to internal and external customers.  You will be a qualified accountant with the ability to demonstrate managerial and technical accounting and system skills.  Adaptable, organised and able to work with minimum supervision you will need to demonstrate resilience, motivation, a commitment to driving up standards of work and the achievement of excellence.

Head of Girls' PE and Games (maternity cover)

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to lead the delivery of girls’ sports within our Physical Education Department.

This is a full-time position, as maternity cover, for up to one year and will be available from February 2018. We could accommodate an April 2018 start for the appropriate candidate.

For this leading role, the ability to coach hockey and netball to a high level and commit to our external fixtures and co-curricular programme are essential for this member of our successful team.

Estates Co-Ordinator

Salary - £23 731 - £25 628 - Full time 

This role will manage all aspects of the school’s property management computer system, Taskman, and be responsible for the maintenance and servicing to current industrial, statutory and regulatory requirements working closely with the Estates Manager.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in maintenance and contract work within both the domestic and industrial/commercial environments and should be able to use MS Excel.

Director of Outdoor Activities

Director of Outdoor Activities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Outdoor Activities to manage and develop the vision of Outdoor Education at Nottingham High School.

The successful candidate must be able to run the Duke of Edinburgh Programme and have a vision to develop our outdoor education and learning across all three sites of the school; involvement in our CCF programme is also a possibility.

This is a full-time, permanent position from January 2018 and a competitive remuneration package is available.
