Owing to an increase in student numbers, an experienced and enthusiastic Psychologist is required to teach A-Level in our well-resourced, highly successful department. This post would suit an experienced teacher or an NQT seeking statutory induction.

The ability to offer a second subject at KS3 is a desirable but not  essential requirement for this post.

Trainee School Counsellor (volunteer)

Trainee School Counsellor
(Volunteer, one day per week)

From September 2018

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee School Counsellor/Therapist to join us on a voluntary basis, from September 2018.

The post would ideally suit someone who would like to gain experience with young people in the 11-18 year age range, with the possibility of working with the 5-10 year age range also.

Whilst this post does not provide clinical supervision, we will pay for a monthly session with an external supervisor. Our School Counsellor will provide line management, support and training opportunities.

The post is for one day per week (ideally either a Monday or a Wednesday) during term-time only for one academic year.

£9.35 per hour
Working term time only - 3.45 - 6.15pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

We are looking for highly motivated, energetic and creative individuals to join our after school club providing after school care for children age 4-11 years.  Duties include planning and creating interesting activities on a daily basis and working as part of a strong team to ensure the smooth running of the club.  Ideally qualified to at least level 2 in Childcare and with a good knowledge of Safeguarding.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and any appointment will be subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure as well as other pre-employment checks.

Owing to an increase in student numbers, an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and energetic teacher is required to teach Maths and Computing in our well-resourced, high-achieving departments. The ratio of teaching for this post is likely to 3:1 in favour of Maths.

Although this post is a full-time teaching post, a part-time option may be negotiable and this can be discussed before application if candidates wish.

This is an exciting opportunity for a current qualified PE teacher to work with pupils aged 4 to 11 years to enhance their leadership skills, coaching skills and motivational ability; as well as pursuing their own interest in sport.

We are seeking to appoint an individual to lead Physical Education and Games throughout our Infant and Junior school. Nottingham High School offers a wide variety of sporting opportunities throughout the school. We celebrate a diverse community of staff and students, united by their creative and innovative engagement towards Sport.

We are looking for a highly effective and dynamic Head of Sport, with a genuine commitment to encouraging life-long participation in sport and fitness for all, as well as an ability to co-ordinate PE, Games, swimming and sporting opportunity across the Early Years, Infant and Junior School. 

The role entails teaching classes and groups aged between 4 and 11 in their Swimming, PE and Games lessons, as well as the responsibility for co-ordinating fixtures against other schools for both boys and girls. The appointed candidate will be expected to contribute fully to the extensive extra-curricular programme during and after school.
