Excellent GCSE results year-on-year
Here at Nottingham High School we are proud to have a strong trend of excellent GCSE results year-on-year, placing us consistently highly in the local and national league tables. Named the East Midlands Independent Secondary School of the Year 2019, our impressive results alongside our excellent pastoral care and co-curricular offering make Nottingham High School a fantastic place for students to undertake their GCSE studies.
2020 Results

We are incredibly proud of our 2020 GCSE cohort.
58.3% of grades were secured at the equivalent of the top grades 8/9/A* which is the School’s highest ever figures. An incredible 24 pupils gained the equivalent of at least ten 8/9/A* grades; 13 gained a full set of A*/9 grades. 69 pupils each gained the equivalent of at least 10 Grades 7-9/A/A*. 37.1% of all passes were at the highest possible grade 9.
