The Nottingham High School community are celebrating this week after it was announced as East Midlands Independent Secondary School of the Year 2023 by the Sunday Times.
Earlier this year Nottingham High School was awarded Independent Co-Education School of the Year by the ISOTY Awards and has previously been ranked first for academic results in the East Midlands by The Sunday Times Independent Schools Guide 2022 and named The Sunday Times East Midlands Senior School of the Decade in 2021.
Headmaster Kevin Fear said “This further accolade for the School is fantastic recognition for the excellent work that goes on in the School day in and day out. We achieve the highest of standards across the full range of our provision and there is a spirit of aspiration throughout the School. All of our staff, support and teaching alike, work hard to ensure that the students here not only achieve outstanding examination results but also are happy, well-supported and really enjoy their school experience. We are proud to once again be named as the top school in the region as well as being recognised on a national level as the co-educational school of the year.”
